International Conference on Advances in Geotechnical Engineering has been held in Perth

International Conference on Advances in Geotechnical Engineering (ICAGE2012) was held in Perth from 7 to 9 November. This conference was an opportunity to share the group’s ground improvement knowledge with geotechnical engineers from Perth, Australia and elsewhere. During this event Babak Hamidi, GFWA’s marketing manager, presented seven papers with Serge Varaksin (Menard) and Professor Hamid Nikraz (Curtin University). The titles of these papers were:

Dynamic Compaction for Treating Millions of Square Meters of Sand
Dynamic Compaction Vibration Monitoring in a Saturated Site
Application of Dynamic Replacement in a Steel Pipe Factory
Predicting Menard Modulus using Dynamic Compaction Induced Subsidence
A Case Study of Vibro Compaction Vibration Monitoring in a Reclaimed Site
Application of Dynamic Surcharging for construction of Tanks on Reclaimed Ground
