Technical site visit held successfully at Perth’s Riverside Water Bank Project

More than 30 engineers from Perth’s  leading engineering firms visited Riverside Water Bank project on 18 September. This site visit was organised by the Australian Geomechanics Society on the invitation of GFWA with the intent to familiarise the local engineering community with the latest technology for installing prefabricated vertical drains or wick drains.

Participants in the site visit were from Aecom, Arup, Coffey Geotechnics, Curtin University, Douglas Partners, Perth Transport Authority, GHD, Golder Associates, Halcrow, SGS, Structerre, and URS.
