Tim Palmer, the general manager of GFWA, was the inivted speaker at Australia Geomechanics Society on 12 August, and shared his local Australian and international experience of diaphragm wall construction. During this presentation that was titled “Diaphragm Walls in Western Australia and Beyond“, and which was held in the auditorium of Engineers Australia, Tim reviewed more common diaphragm wall construction techniques, and introduced some of the latest state-of-the-art technologies that have been developed by Soletanche Freyssinet Group. He also presented a number of high profile and prestiguous projects that have been undertaken locally by GFWA or elsewhere by other companies of the Group.
