Our processes
Ground anchors are critical for ensuring the stability of various structures, and GFWA excels in providing expert ground anchor solutions. The process involves drilling into the soil or rock to create a borehole, into which a high-strength steel tendon is inserted. This tendon is then grouted to bond it to the surrounding ground. Once the grout hardens, the tendon is tensioned and locked off at the required load. This method is ideal for stabilising slopes, retaining walls, and supporting deep excavations.
