Project Information
Stage 2 of the Wearne Cottesloe redevelopment project builds upon the initial success of Marine Views Cottesloe. This stage aims to further enhance the residential care environment by expanding the available facilities and residences. The project continues to prioritize high-quality care and luxurious living, with additional waterfront residences and improved amenities. This phase will also focus on integrating the facility more seamlessly with the surrounding heritage gardens and ocean views, creating a cohesive and serene environment for the residents.
Scope of Works
The scope of works for GFWA included the supply and installation of a 148 linear meter contiguous CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) pile wall. This project involved the installation of 109 piles, each with a diameter of 600mm and an average length of 7.6 meters. The total drilling length amounted to 813 linear meters, encompassing both soil and limestone with varied strengths. This complex task required precision in handling different ground conditions to ensure the stability, vertical and integrity of the contiguous pile wall.
