Project Information

The Yanchep Rail Extension is a significant infrastructure project under Perth’s METRONET initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth in the region. Slated to commence passenger services soon, this extension will link Yanchep to the broader Perth rail network, providing substantial social and economic benefits. By facilitating easier commuting for local residents and attracting visitors to Perth’s northern areas, the project promises to bolster local businesses and improve accessibility. This development represents a crucial step in Perth’s ongoing efforts to modernize its public transportation system and support sustainable urban growth.
